 Give Power to the Arts

Dear Friend,

Thank you for allowing me the time to share with you today.

We believe in the importance, power and positive effect art can make on our community as a whole and on peoples mental and emotional vitality. Wether your creativity is your career, a hobby or a dream our goal is to teach people how to let themselves be creative. I hope that I can inspire you today to be a part of an organization that is on a mission to educate, advocate and inspire creativity, mindfulness and facilitate a healing that needs to be cultivated in hopes of a better world.

ART Provides your mind, body, and spirit with the tools and hands-on experiences to feed your creative practice. Whether you’re a pictures or words person, ART Provides something for everyone!

Check our calendar for upcoming art shows, talks, meet-ups, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops both in the space and on the website.

Message from the Founder

The seeds that started Art Provides were planted when I was in grade school, when I was handed an award for the art I created at the scholastic olympics. My passion for art and literature grew in high school, where I was elected editor for our school's award winning art and literary publication. After high school, I went on to work at an art gallery in NYC and then to complete a BFA in fine art, painting, photography and graphic design at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Art is my passion. The vision of opening my own artist's community space sprouted in 2017 at the first St. George Women's Influence Center event. In 2018, I was asked to speak at the 2nd annual WIC meeting about events I had started hosting called Creative ART SPA. I have hosted events out of the St. George Chamber as well as various private spaces across southern Utah that utilize art, writing, and meditation as a way of connecting with our inner selves while providing a creative health and wellness activity. I started by toting all the tables and art supplies out of my car and upgraded to a 4x6 trailer in 2018.

ART Provides is an expanded vision of what I started with Creative ART SPA.

ART Provides is on a quest to build bridges between an individual’s external and internal experiences, between one person and another, among groups of people, and between individuals and their cultural contexts.
